Natalie Angier just wrote an epistle in my behavioral Bible, the NY Science Times entitled, “The Circular Logic of the Universe.”

(I’m not according any particular publication the status of papal infallibility, just making the point that physics is as Einstein once remarked, our best way of knowing the mind of the “Old One” and that the New York Times is especially good at making scientific concepts accessible to we mere mortals.)

While usually circular logic is seen as disqualifying to an argument, in physics circular logic means that a wave is being strengthened, whereas circular reasoning in logic means two thoughts are canceling each other out. The circular logic of the universe squares very well with network consciousness and NDT and so I would also like to call your attention to the article I posted in June explaining why dogs do everything in a circle.
